Adani was born to a Gujarati Jain family in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. After completing his school education at Gujarat University, he moved to Mumbai to work in his uncle’s diamond business. In 1988, he started his own business by setting up a commodity trading firm. He also ventured into other sectors like power generation, oil & gas exploration, infrastructure projects, logistics and edible oils.

Adani has made significant investments in Gujarat and holds a controlling interest in Adani Power, which has become one of the largest private electricity producers in India. In addition to electricity production, the Adani Group has built a number of power projects around the world. In recent years, the group has expanded its presence in the renewable energy sector, focusing on solar power and other clean energy sources.

In 2020, Adani became the first Indian to make it to the Fortune 500 list of the world’s biggest companies. He also has a number of philanthropic initiatives, such as the Gautam Adani Foundation, which focuses on providing education and healthcare services to underprivileged communities in India. 

Bill Gates

Born William Henry Gates III in Seattle, Washington, in 1955, he was a college dropout who began his career as a programmer at age 13. Along with his childhood friend Paul Allen, Gates founded Microsoft in 1975 and began building software for the then-nascent personal computer industry.

 Jeff Bezos

Bezos has made his money through his stake in Amazon. He owns around 12 percent of the company, which is valued at more than $1 trillion. Bezos also owns multiple other companies, including Blue Origin, a space exploration venture, and The Washington Post.

Bezos has also earned money through investments in various tech companies, such as Uber and Airbnb. He has also invested in real estate and other ventures, such as a 10,000-acre ranch in Texas.

Bezos is known for his philanthropic efforts, donating large sums to charity. He has given hundreds of millions to support homeless families and research into early childhood education. Bezos has also donated large amounts to environmental causes, including the fight against climate change. 

Warren Buffett

One of the world’s wealthiest people, Warren Buffett is an American business magnate, investor and philanthropist. He is the chairman and largest shareholder of Berkshire Hathaway, a conglomerate holding company that owns more than 60 companies, including household names like Geico Insurance and Dairy Queen.

He has a net worth estimated to be around $90 billion. Buffett is known as one of the most successful investors of all time. He started his investment career in the 1950s and by 1965, he became the Chairman and largest shareholder of Berkshire Hathaway.

Buffett's investment strategy has remained unchanged throughout his career, investing in well-run companies with strong fundamentals and buying them at bargain prices. He is often called "the Oracle of Omaha" for his ability to accurately predict stock market trends.

In addition to his investments, Buffett is also a major philanthropist. He has donated billions of dollars to charities, including the Gates Foundation, which focuses on global health and development. He has also pledged to give away the majority of his wealth upon his death.
